Program:  The Nervous Nature Photographer’s Guide to Shooting at High ISOs by Lee Hoy

About Lee:  Lee Hoy is a wildlife, landscape, macro, and night sky photographer based out of the Davis Mountains in west Texas. Lee serves as a photography workshop instructor for Wildside Nature Tours and is an adventure photography workshop instructor for Precision Camera & Video in Austin and Houston. He loves to teach workshop participants how to capture outstanding nature images and how to blend photography and an amazing experience into one.

He speaks at photography and birding festivals around the country, and when not traveling loves to enjoy the night sky and wildlife in his own 18 acres of paradise on top of a mountain in west Texas. He is one of seventeen US and Canadian OM (Olympus Maitani) System Ambassadors and loves sharing the amazing features and capabilities of the OM System.

Procedure when arriving

Please find your name tag at the table when you walk in, then locate the attendance sheet on the table and check off your name. You can also see if you are up to date on your dues. If not, you can pay Winifred Simon at the meeting, or other options below.

Member Photo Share Theme:  Summertime Blues

From Bill Galloway:  “”In our modern Texas, July means that summer is upon us. And that means heat, and blue, cloudless skies. But there are lots of other things to be found in summertime that are also blue: flowers, lakes/oceans/swimming pools, parades, and birds come to mind. The only guideposts: there’s some blue and it was shot in the summertime.”

You are encouraged to send 2 images for this part of the meeting, on this topic…or another if you prefer. Please rename your images 1FirstName_LastName.jpg, 2FirstName_LastName.jpg and send to photos@jerrysargent.com no later than July 16th to make sure they are included.
