Officer Elections & Club Business Meeting
Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had a great holiday, and is looking forward to our photo club’s plans for 2017.
Here is the agenda for this month’s meeting:

As is tradition, January is our meeting for officer elections, and general business that we need to discuss. First of all, each of last year’s officers have agreed to continue serving our group through 2017.
Here is your slate of officers for your review:
President: Carol Serur

In addition, we have added committees to assist with programming, field trips, receptions, etc. PLEASE consider signing up to help on one of the committees. It’s a great way to meet others in our club, and also promote your ideas.
Here are those committees, and those who have already signed up on them:
Program Committee (2 people to secure programs for the next year – 5 or 6 outside speakers, and 4-5 “in house” members programs)

DUES: $12 for one-year membership (best deal around!!)
If you are renewing, you may go online and pay with PayPal. It will charge you a small convenience fee. Here is this link.
You may also pay your dues at the meeting, or mail to our treasurer, Winifred Simon, 600 Red Hawk Road, Wimberley, TX 78676.

Critiques: My Favorite 2 Photos of 2016
You may send 2 images to share in the Critique portion of the meeting. Please re-size your files to 2000 pixels on the long side, and name them FirstName_LastName_1.jpg, etc. Email them to hcphotoclub@gmail.com by Tuesday, January 17th.
You may ask for a critique, or simply “show and tell.”
Reminders
- If you have a Facebook account, you may join our club’s Closed Group page and keep up with current member news as well as postings of Calls for Entry that you may wish to enter, or share other important or interesting information with our group. Go to HCPC Members. You must be a paid member to post and use this account. It is the easiest and best way to keep current on photo opps and member news. Carolyn Whiteside is the administrator of this page – thank you Carolyn!
