March 2016 Program
Learning About Cyanotypes
We hope you join us at our next photo club meeting on St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday, March 17th at 7:00 pm. Come a little early if you want to visit with your friends, and find your name tag.
We have a great program for you!
Our guest, DorRae Stevens, will introduce you to an alternative method of photography called Cyanotype, a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print. This procedure can also be used on fabric, as she will share with you. Come join us in learning something new!
DorRae Stevens, lives and works in Dripping Springs and the Austin/Hill Country area. Her work spans from portraits to documentary, art, and commercial clients. Her work is often seen at the A Smith Gallery in Johnson City. Although most of her work has been digital she is spending more time these days with alternative processes and the B&W darkroom.
