Please join us for our next meeting on Thursday, October 19th at 7pm. Andy Heatwole (aka San Marcos Photos) will be our guest speaker, and share with us long exposure photography – something he does almost every single day! About Our Program: S t r e t c h i n g Time with Andy Heatwole
Andy Heatwole is a nature and landscape photographer who’s spent the last 15 years photographing the natural wonders of the Central Texas area.
Night photography inspired him to pick up his first camera and still inspires him today.
His latest project features the diverse beauty of his hometown of San Marcos and the surrounding area. His work can be found at www.smtxphotos.com and www.localtexas.com.
Dues for 2017 are $12.
New members joining after the first of the year will pay a prorated amount. You may pay by check at the next meeting or mail to our treasurer, Winifred Simon, at 600 Red Hawk Road, Wimberley, TX 78676, or pay using PayPal.
Critiques: Weather
You may submit up to 2 images. Please resize them to 2,000 pixels on the long side, with a resolution of 72, and name them 1FirstName_LastName.jpg, 2FirstName_LastName.jpg.
Remember, when showing your images, you may ask for a critique or suggestions for improvement from members, or simply “show and tell” your image.
Please email them to hcphotoclub@gmail.com by Tuesday, October 17th, so Jørgen will have time to prepare them for the meeting.
Reminders
- If you have a Facebook account, you may join our club’s Closed Group page and keep up with current member news as well as postings of Calls for Entry that you may wish to enter, or share other important or interesting information with our group. Go to HCPC Members. You must be a paid member to post and use this account. It is the easiest and best way to keep current on photo opps and member news.
