He has served as President of the club and is currently the club’s webmaster. He became the Naturescapes Photography Contest Coordinator in 2011. He became a Texas Master Naturalist in 2007 and served as President of the Hays County Chapter from 2013 through 2015. Art enjoys the art of photography because he finds it challenging, creative, and lets him exercise the right side of his brain.
Member Photo Share: Theme this month is “Butterflies.
From Bill Galloway, “In honor of our speaker’s topic, the July PhotoShare theme is Butterflies. This is a bit more specific than our recent themes, but could include anything from a macro of wing scales to a butterfly swarm. Butterflies in motion or posing quietly on a flower. Butterfly signs, posters, sculptures, or gardens. Butterflies are everywhere. They are beautiful. They are challenging.” (As always, if you prefer to share something other than the theme for the month, you may do so.)
Please resize and rename your 2 images as follows: 1FirstName_LastName.jpg, 2FirstName_Last Name.jpg, and resize to 2000 pixels on the long side. NOTE: Send them by email to hcphotoclub@gmail.com by July 18 to insure they will be shown at the meeting.(Note: As always, if you prefer to submit something other than the theme topic, you may do so.) Note: Do not send them to Jerry – he will not be at this meeting.
